Conga AI Analyze Blueprint Matrix

Introduction

The following is a matrix of definitions and examples for the various Clause and Field criteria available in the AI Analyze Blueprint Designer. 

Clauses

Criteria Definition Additional Fields Definition with Example
Keyword Specifies associated keywords with a Clause. None

This searches the clause for a keyword you define in the text field. Use regex to return the best results. To learn more about regex, see the Regex Overview for Conga AI Analyze

Contains Field Defines specific Fields within a Clause. Fields
Amount of Limit

The Amount of Limit is defined as one of the following:

  • Date
  • Duration
  • Email
  • Location
  • Money
  • Name
  • Number
  • Percent 
Duration Search the contract for a listed duration.

Example:

Terms stating that a lease is for one year. 
Start Date Search the contract for a field that contains a start date.
End Date Search the contract for a field that contains an end date.
Sign Date Search the contract for a field that contains a sign date. 

Example:

The date a lease agreement was signed.
Venue

Search the document for a venue.

Example:

A place, like a reception hall rented for a wedding. 

Inclusion Type
Always Always include the previously selected criteria.
Never Never include the previously selected criteria. 
Search Specifies keywords in relation to positioning of other Field(s).  Search From
Text (Regex) Enter text to search for. Use regex to return the best results. To learn more about regex, see the Regex Overview for Conga AI Analyze
Search Direction
Backwards Search backwards in the contract from the selected criteria.
Forwards Search forwards in the contract from the selected criteria. 
Backwards and Forwards Search in all directions in the contract from the selected criteria. 
Number of Words
Select a number Select a number between 0-160.
Search To
Text (Regex) Enter text to search to. Use regex to return the best results. To learn more about regex, see the Regex Overview for Conga AI Analyze
Clause Location Determines the location of Clause data relative to its position in a document.  Search Direction in Document
Top to Bottom Searches your contract from top to bottom.
Bottom to Top Searches your contract from bottom to top.
Percentage of Document
Select a percentage number Enter a percentage of the document to search.

Example:

You can search 30% of the document, and the search starts from top of your contract if you select Top to Bottom as your search direction.
Order Determines the location of Clause data relative to position of other Clauses and Fields.  Target Clause is Located
Before Clause Searches your contract before the selected clause.
After Clause Searches your contract after the selected clause.
Before Field Searches your contract before the selected field.
After Field Searches your contract after the selected field.
Clause
Select a Clause Type

The following Clause Types are available for selection:

Field
Amount of Limit

The Amount of Limit is defined as one of the following:

  • Date
  • Duration
  • Email
  • Location
  • Money
  • Name
  • Number
  • Percent

Fields

Criteria Definition Additional Fields Example and/or Definition
Compare Compares data against other defined Field values. Operator
Less Than Searches for results less than the selected criteria.
Greater Than Searches fo results greater than the selected criteria.
Less Than or Equal Searches for results less than or equal to the selected criteria.
Great Than or Equal Searches for results greater than or equal to the selected criteria.
Equal Searches for results equal to the selected criteria.
Not Equal Searches for results not equal to the selected criteria. 
Scope Defines a Field's location within a Clause. Inclusion Type
Always Within Searches for fields that are always within the clause selected.
Never Within Searches for fields that are never within the clause selected.
Order Determines a Field's location as either before or after specific Clauses and Fields.  Target Field is Located
Before Field Searches your contract before the selected field.
After Field Searches your contract after the selected field.
Before Clause Searches your contract before the selected clause.
After Clause Searches your contracts after the selected clause.

Search Direction in Document

Field Location Determines the location of Field data relative to its position in a document.  Search Direction
Top to Bottom Searches your contract from top to bottom.
Bottom to Top Searches your contract from bottom to top.

Example:

 \b(llp|llc|inc|ltd|sarl|pty|trust|corp|corporation|lc|lp|plc|na|pllc|sa|ag|co|limited|partner|incorporated|gmbh|shop|systems)\b

This regex string searches for all of the fields listed within the |, such as llp, llc, ltd, ect.
