Conga AI Analyze Regex Library

Overview

The following is a library of commonly used regex, or regular expressions, for the Conga AI Analyze Blueprint Designer. To learn more about regex, see the Regex Overview for Conga AI Analyze

Regular Expression Definition Example
\b Finds matches within a boundary.

\b(governed by)\b

The AI will only search for the word "governed by" within the selected clause or field.

As a best practice, always include these boundary notations in the regular expressions you enter into the Conga AI Analyze Blueprint Designer.

\w*  Matches zero or more characters.

\b(payment\w*)\b

Matches "payments" and similar variations which also includes "payment".

\w+ Matches one or more characters.

\b(liab\w+)\b

Matches "liability", "liabilities", "liable", and similar variations but excludes "liab".

| Acts as an OR boolean search operator.

\b(neither|no|notwithstanding)\b

Matches "neither OR no OR notwithstanding".

Specifies ranges.  [0-5] matches any number from 0-5. The square brackets make it apply to only one character.
\s Matches any whitespace character.

A whitespace character can be:

  • A space character
  • A tab character
  • A carriage return character
  • A new line character
  • A vertical tab character
  • A form feed character
