Using Composer with Salesforce Shield Encryption

Conga Composer users can successfully merge data in Salesforce orgs with Salesforce Shield Encryption enabled. To merge fields encrypted with Salesforce Shield Encryption, create a new View Encrypted Data Permission Set and assign it to user, or assign the View Encrypted Data system permission to User Profiles.

The recommended method is to create and assign a Permission Set with the View Encrypted Data permission enabled.

  2. In the Quick Find search box, type in Permission Sets.
  3. Click Permission Sets
  4. Click New to create a new Permission Set
  5. Name the Label View Encrypted Data and the API Name View_Encrypted_Data.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Under the System Permission section, click System Permissions.
  8. Click Edit.
  9. Check the View Encrypted Data checkbox
